Justin’s Favorite Feel Good Flow

You guys know I love to move! I’m like a 7-year-old, who just drank three sodas and snorted a pixie stick. That being said, this little movement flow really helps me focus that energy to calm down a bit, but it also scratches that itch to move around like a lil monkey boy! It can be a little confusing at first, but once you feel the flow of it, you can get lost in the fun movements! Not to mention, it’ll make you stronger and more mobile! Fuckin’ sweet right?!?! ENJOY!

Looking for more play in your life, or simply want to feel good? Our Feel Good Program is 1/2 off (six 20 minute practices for only $20) for the month of May! These are the perfect bite-size classes aimed to launch you over the joy gap.

Step One: Start in Downward Facing Dog Split and go to a high Lizard Pose.

Step Two: Then, lift your hand so your back leg kicks through, and press through the ball of the foot.

Step Three: As that leg comes back through, go to low squat at the side of the mat (you shouldn’t be facing the top of the mat, but instead facing the left side of your mat).

Step Four: This part gets tricky but super fun! Reach out and put your right hand on the mat, then step your right foot through, so you end up in a Single-Arm Reverse Tabletop. I know it’s a lot, but you’re almost there!

Step Five: Switch the hands, so the left-hand is behind you and the right-hand lifts. From here, lift your left foot and step it under you, so you end up in a low squat.

YOU DID IT!

Now, take a celebratory gorilla walk! Channel your inner primate by slowly sliding your hands up and floating your feet around your hands.

Feel free to take a vinyasa and then try the left side!

Enjoy!!!!
